PRIVACY POLICY

PRIME BIT GAMES S.A. is the data controller for the processing of personal data. The registered office of the company is located at: Szlachecka 1, 35-213 Rzeszów. In order to provide certain games and services, user data may also be administered by PrimeBit Games S.A.

We use the following methods to collect data from and about users:

Information provided by the user. You typically provide PrimeBit Games S.A. with your information under the following circumstances: (1) purchase of goods or services from our online stores, (2) product or account registration or online game participation registration, (3) player competition services, (4) message boards or forums, (5) eCards or Recruit a Friend emails, (6) warranty registrations, (7) contest registrations, (8) consumer complaints, (9) surveys, (10) customer service or technical support, (11) Share a Wish List function and/or (12) newsletters. Data collected may include the user's name, home address, telephone number and/or e-mail address. The above data is not required in order to access our websites, but failure to do so will result in your inability to use certain products, services or features that require registration or to receive materials, such as newsletters.

In special cases, we may ask you to submit a copy of a document or proof of identity issued by a government authority in order to verify the identity, location and/or ownership of your account. Once a photo ID is provided, a copy of the ID is usually deleted immediately upon completion of the verification process, or after 30 days if the matter has not been resolved within that period, unless the copy proves necessary to establish, defend or exercise our rights.

Data obtained or generated as a result of your use of our games or services. We collect data regarding: your gameplay and game activity, the services you use and how you use them, and your devices and activities related to installing or using our services.

You are aware that when you use the speech-to-text conversion feature in voice chats, your statements may be used in a transcription of the text converted from speech for, among other things, accessibility purposes. Once the user terminates the session and closes the chat, the transcription will not be stored. Since other participants may view and/or listen to voice chats and other contributions, the user should avoid disclosing any personal information in such contributions.

Data collected from external sources. We may receive data about you and your activities from third-party entities if you have linked your account to external accounts (e.g., Facebook, PlayStation, Xbox or Twitch), and from advertisers and service providers regarding your interactions with their products or offers. We may also obtain data from public websites, such as Twitch, Instagram or YouTube. For example: if a user logs into a website or application using Facebook Connect, he or she may be asked if he or she wants to share Facebook account data with us. If you participate in a game or other feature where your score is published on social media, or if you use the "Like" or "Share" button for a feature on our websites or apps, such a third party may share information with us.

We treat all information associated with your account as personal data. PrimeBit Games S.A. collects data from the following categories, depending on the products and services you use or are interested in. We usually keep the data only for as long as it is necessary to provide the products and services and to ensure the highest quality of entertainment. Exceptions are detailed below.

ACCOUNT DATA:

Any data that identifies, relates to, describes, or can be associated with a specific individual or household. Most of this data is submitted and generated when a player creates his or her account. This information is available and can be updated by the user in the account settings section. Age/date of birth data is collected for parental control purposes, while gender data is collected for merchandise sourcing purposes only. We also collect data from players to track the careers of players participating in the games we organize and the results they achieve.

Data including information on racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical views, information on trade union membership, genetic information, biometric information, information on health, sex life or sexual orientation. Typically, we collect selected sensitive data from players who participate in our e-sports events in order to provide personalized care and assistance during competitions.

TRANSACTION/PURCHASE INFORMATION:

Information about the product or service purchased or received and transaction histories. We collect detailed transaction data related to the licensing and purchase of our products and services, as well as related to contests and competitions we sponsor. Transaction data may be kept for up to 7 years (mainly for auditing purposes).

Examples: Order details/order history, subscriptions, returns, payments, shipping data, gifts, data for tax purposes

ACTIVITY INFORMATION:

Information about activity on the Internet or other electronic network and information about a consumer's interaction with a website, application or advertisement. As a player interacts with our services, we collect server logs. We keep server logs for a period of 90 days to 1 year, unless they relate to escalation of problems with the customer, in which case we keep them for a maximum period of 3 years.

Conclusions drawn from the activities, behaviors or attitudes of individuals. We generate this type of information in order to determine consumer preferences and characteristics and provide a great experience for our players.

GEOLOCATION:

Locating the geographic location of a person or device using digital data processed over the Internet. We only use this type of data to evaluate service performance.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Data collected/generated in the process of assisting players in customer service in order to identify and resolve player problems and monitor and improve our services. Data related to rankings, performance-related statistics and team details collected to track the careers and performance of players participating in our organized tournaments, licenses and membership data, and tournament details.

GAME DATA:

User data on their game licenses, progress, history, statistics, in-game purchases and interactions with other players. Game data is generated during play by game users.

ADMINISTRATIVE DATA:

Data needed for operations and logistics. Our tournaments and competitions are held all over the world. Therefore, we collect information about professional players that is needed for travel arrangements and support.

Examples: Preferred language, local/default airport, user franchise, clothing size, welcome return

EMPLOYMENT DATA:

Detailed information about a person's current employment status. This kind of information is mainly collected from players in e-sports competitions so that we can better manage our tournaments.

PrimeBit Games S.A. collects and uses your personal information for the purpose of conducting its core business and operations to provide the best possible service and experience from our products and services. Our objectives are:

Gameplay experience. Creating well-designed, experiential entertainment that can be experienced by playing our epic games! These include: Progress and history, social data collected during gameplay, unlocks and items acquired.

Players of most of our games use a PrimeBit Store account to store assets, through which they communicate with friends and learn about our games and services. Parents of our younger players have the option to set parental controls to monitor and control their child's play. These include: Player account, parental control management.

Professional classic e-sports competitions. Professional video game tournaments of many of our franchises, held around the world. Organizing such tournaments often requires traveling, providing accommodation and food for professional players and participants. We may also use player data to organize complete tournaments, operate or generate payouts and/or reimbursements, and participant data to promote their participation and engagement. These include: Tournament administration, event travel and event logistics, payment and contract management, competition participation and fan engagement.

Broadcasting and production of tournaments and events. Many of our tournaments are televised and this requires player information to ensure the highest level of coverage for viewers. PrimeBit Games S.A. may also use information to promote and process competitions and sweepstakes and fulfill related prizes.   • Cookies and tracking technology - information stored on your device (cookies and similar tracking technology) so that we can better understand how our sites and apps are used and send more relevant offers. 3 Legitimate interest. We use data for purposes that are not detrimental to the protection of your data and that are reasonably expected in the context of your relationship with PrimeBit Games S.A.. The above includes the use of data for:

PrimeBit Games S.A.'s websites have bulletin boards, forums and/or chat areas where users can exchange ideas and contact each other. When posting on a message board, forum or chat area, please note that this information is publicly available on the Internet, and you do so at your own risk. In some forums, anyone who posts or responds to a post can do so using their real ID - that is, their full name - with the option to also display the name of their main character in the game (see information on real ID included below).
Certain products, services and features of PrimeBit Games S.A. require the sharing of information (1) with our partners and service providers, (2) with other players and/or the general public, (3) with subsidiaries and affiliates, or (4) for legal reasons or in the event of a dispute.

(1) Partners and service providers. PrimeBit Games S.A. may share information with its vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research companies and other service providers or business partners. Examples of when we share information with such entities include organizing event ticket sales, conducting surveys on our behalf and processing payments for our products or games. We share some of our players' game data with our developers who create applications and websites that benefit our gaming community. It is possible to opt out of sharing game data under this program by opting out of sharing game data.

2. to other players and/or the general public. Information may be visible to friends, people in games, or the general public if you play our games, use certain features in our games, use certain features on our platforms (such as in-game chat apps or on the PrimeBit Store platform), or post on forums.

3 To subsidiaries and affiliates. We share information with our subsidiaries and affiliates to help us provide services or conduct processing of personal information on our behalf.

4. for legal reasons or in case of a dispute. PrimeBit Games S.A. may share your data if it determines that it is required to do so by applicable law, regulation, operating agreement, legal process, or at the request of authorities. Objection: You may have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data if you believe that PrimeBit Games S.A. does not have appropriate rights to participate in such processing, or if you wish to request PrimeBit Games S.A. to stop processing your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.

Restriction of processing: You may request to stop the processing of your personal data in certain cases, for example, if you exercise your right to object as described above. In the event of an objection, the user will be entitled to restrict processing.

Portability: Data portability is the ability to transfer your personal data from one company to another (for example, when transferring a cell phone service to another operator). Although this right does not specifically apply to PrimeBit Games S.A.'s current operations, we will provide you with an electronic file of your most basic account information upon your request.

Friends using real ID can see their real names and their characters in all PrimeBit Games S.A. products and services. By participating in PrimeBit Games S.A.'s optional real ID system, the user makes his/her real personalities visible to friends of his/her friends, who will also be able to invite him/her to become friends. When a user and his or her friend jointly agree to become friends with a real ID, they gain access to many additional features, including:

  • Real names for friends: the user's friends using the real ID will appear under their real names in the friends list when chatting, communicating in-game or viewing a character's profile.
  • Inter-kingdom and inter-game chat: with a real ID, friends can chat between different realms, factions and games using PrimeBit Games S.A.'s products and services.
  • Visible presence: the friends list will show additional information about what the user's friends using the real ID are doing in the products and services of PrimeBit Games S.A. in real time.

 

PrimeBit Games S.A. may use tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, tags, scripts and unique codes used in applications. These technologies are used to analyze trends, administer websites or applications, track users' movements on websites or applications, and gather demographic information about our entire user base. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies both individually and in aggregate form.

We use these technologies for a variety of purposes, including for our shopping cart, maintaining user settings (such as language preferences) and authentication. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level.
